Today’s program was amazing! We spent the day touring the castle in Eger, with the help of a very entertaining tour guide, who told us many facts about it’s history while making us laugh many times. For many of us it was our first time at the castle, making it a great experience for us all. After visiting the castle, we all ate lunch together before heading to our next destination. The Bolyki wine cellar. Here at the wine cellar the ”lucky people”, and by lucky I mean those 18 years or older were given the opportunity to try some of their award winning wines. Unfortunately, I was 18 days short of my 18th birthday, so I, like many others drank homemade cherry juice instead. Just because many of us didn’t have wine, didn’t mean we didn’t have fun. We were joined by three musicians from a music school in Eger, who led some folk dances and taught us a few folk songs. I very much enjoyed singing together with all my new friends. I look forward to what tomorrow will bring.
